CRAWFORD COUNTY DEMOCRATS SUGGEST ALMA WHEELER SMITH FOR LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR
GRAYLING - The Crawford County Democratic Party (Crawford County Democrats) voted unanimously today to suggest Alma Wheeler Smith as a possible candidate for Lieutenant Governor

We believe that Alma Wheeler Smith would bring the diversity and experience to the ticket that would be unmatched by the republicans.

The Crawford County Democrats Delegation hereby suggest to the Virg Bernero for Governor campaign that they make the right decision in choosing Alma Wheeler Smith for the candidacy of Lieutenant Governor.

CRAWFORD COUNTY DEMOCRATS ENDORSE DAVE BORTH FOR MICHIGAN STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION
GRAYLING - The Crawford County Democratic Party (Crawford County Democrats) voted unanimously today to endorse Dave Borth for Michigan State Board of Education.

As the only out-state candidate we believe that Mr. Borth is the only one who truly knows the needs of our Northern Michigan schools. Dave Borth’s plan of making our education system more equitable across the state is what we need here in smaller communities like Grayling. It should not matter what part of the state you live in to get the best education possible. Dave Borth is the right candidate to make that a reality.

The Crawford County Democrats Delegation will be present at the Democratic State Convention and will vote in support of Dave Borth.

CRAWFORD COUNTY DEMOCRATS ENDORSE DENNIS DENNO FOR MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY BOARD OF TRUSTEES
GRAYLING - The Crawford County Democratic Party (Crawford County Democrats) voted unanimously today to endorse Dennis Denno for Michigan State University Board of Trustees.

We believe that Mr. Denno’s top priority of keeping tuition levels down to an affordable level is essential to strengthening our work force and economy here in Michigan. To many of our children are left out of opportunities to complete their education because they simply cannot afford it. With Dennis Denno serving as a MSU Trustee we can feel reassured that he will work to make sure more of our children will have to opportunity to attend a first class school like Michigan State University.

CRAWFORD COUNTY DEMOCRATS ENDORSE ED BRULEY FOR WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY BOARD OF GOVERNORS
GRAYLING - The Crawford County Democratic Party (Crawford County Democrats) voted unanimously today to endorse Ed Bruley for Wayne State University Board of Governors.

We believe that Ed Bruley has a comprehensive set of goals to make Wayne State a forefront school for working families that wish to further their education. Mr. Bruley’s vision of building strong partnerships to create more WSU extensions off campus is a perfect example of helping those who need it most. Working families do not have enough time in the day to manage their jobs and families while attending classes to help better their lives. The ability to attend classes that are closer to their homes and jobs will help ease the burden placed on these families.

The Crawford County Democrats Delegation will be present at the Democratic State Convention and will vote in support of Ed Bruley.
